1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Hardtop
Every once in a while we get a great 57 Ford Fairlane 500. Ninety nine percent of the time they are convertibles in original condition. This is a tastefully modified Hardtop that has some very nice upgrades but not over the top. It retains a stock body with no trim or chrome deleted and no major body modifications. Though not a high dollar show finish the body and paint show very well especially with the classic two tone treatment. All of the glass and trim are very nice. There is some distortion on the rear bumper but not really enough to mess with. The nice looking bench seat interior continues the two tone treatment with a combination of vinyl and cloth. I has seat belts, a stock steering wheel, good carpet, door panels, and headliner. The dash is uncut. The original Y block motor was replaced with a later model 302 V-8 with a two barrel carburetor, custom dress up kit, and dual exhaust. It fires right up and runs smooth and strong. The motor compartment is nicely detailed and shows well. The shiny compressor is for the brand new Vintage AC system that was just installed. It blows cold R-134 air. Nice! The chassis is clean and shows very well also with smooth pans, painted hardware, gas shocks, and rides on Coy C-5 17 inch wheels with Gun Metal finish. They look totally retro but feature modern hoops. The larger diameter wheels with radial tires sure makes this ole fifties Ford ride and handle much better. The power steering and disc brakes help also. The trunk is finished with a stock mat and full size spare. If you like a 57 Ford Hardtop but want some subtle upgrades this is the car for you. 1959 Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner
This car came to us from a private collection. It was saved from the crusher in 1994 and frame up restored over an 18 month period. It still looks very good and drives terrific. The radial tires mounted on the Kelsey Hays wire wheels, front & rear sway bars, power steering, and power front disc brakes see to that. Power comes from a 352 CI Thunderbird Special V-8 and a Fordomatic transmission. It runs very well and the transmission shifts smoothly. The smooth body has nice two tone paint and good chrome. The extensive trim is all there and other than a few dings is very nice. The interior was kept original and still shows very well but does show a little age from being shown with the top down during the good weather months. It features 3 tone fabrics, an uncut dash, seat belts, molded door panels, arm rest console with drink holders, and a hidden Pioneer sound system. The controller is mounted in the glove box opening with the head unit and multidisc pack mounted in the trunk. It was covered with matching trunk mat material. Very cool. If it is too hot to cruise with the top down you can use the power button and raise it up and make use of the cold blowing air conditioning from the Vintage AC system. Of course you have to have fender skirts and a Continental kit on a 59 Sunliner. This one has the full version with the bumper extension. The motor and trunk compartments are show worth. The chassis still show well too with dual aluminum exhaust, clean hardware, and the replaced gas tank. This is a very nice car overall and makes for a sleek cruiser. 1960 Pontiac Catalina Convertible
You just do not see cars like this every day. Especially as well preserved and original as this fine 1960 Catalina. Pontiac designers were at the top of their game by the late fifties and made some of the sleekest cars on the road. Especially their full size line up like this Catalina that launched a borage of low lean cars throughout the sixties. It is hard to beat a big ole sixties convertible! This one is as sexy as any Cadillac and floats down the road with ease. Mainly because it is powered by the legendary 389 V-8 that was used in most Pontiacs of this era. The motor was rebuilt to factory specs during the restoration along with the automatic transmission. It runs smooth and strong! It also sports power steering and power brakes. The motor compartment is nicely detailed in correct colors and even has some factory markings on the firewall. The body on this car is super slick, covered in beautiful modern paint in the original Coronado Red and has a tight fitting power operated top. The trim, chrome, and glass are very nice. Good thing because I am sure it would be hard to find if missing. The body fitment is outstanding! The interior is very unique. The vinyl fabrics are two tone and the sculptured door panels have white accents. The carpet is faded due to showing the car with the top down so I am sure it will be replaced soon. The rest of the interior is very original with all the factory parts unaltered. The chassis is solid and shows well but is driver quality. The trunk compartment is nice with a correct mat and full size spare cover. This car rides on original style white wall tires accented with smooth factory wheel disc. This unmolested car is as close to original as you could find with awesome paint. It is a very pretty car that is easy on the eyes and fun to drive. 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback
Inspired by the legendary Hertz "Rent A Racer" from the mid sixties this restored Fastback is a very cool Mustang. It carries show quality paint with beautiful GT350H gold painted LeMans stripes. Hood scoop, hood pins, grille, side scoops, rocker panel stripes, and open quarter windows are like a GT350H also. The fully refurbished chassis was upgraded with 4 wheel disc brakes, power rack & pinion steering, gas shocks and new hardware riding on chrome Magnum 500 wheels. Power comes from the legendary 289 V8 with a 4 barrel carburetor, electronic ignition, dual exhaust, and crinkle finish Ford Motorsports dress up kit. A GT-350 one piece export brace was added also. A smooth shifting 4-speed transmission delivers the power to a Ford inch rear end. This Pony drives fantastic! The immaculate bucket seat interior features a chrome Ididit tilt column, Shelby style wood steering wheel, padded dash, deluxe pedal trim, fold down rear seat, complete set of seat belts, and a Hurst shifter. The trunk looks like new and features the trap door to allow access to the back when folded down. If you have ever seen what real mid sixties Shelby models bring this car is a bargain. 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible
This is a fabulous, fully restored Pony convertible, that is loaded with lots of cool extras. It is powered by a 347 V-8 Stroker motor with an automatic overdrive transmission. It is powerful and runs smooth. I guess the restorer wanted a sleeper and took a stealth approach, keeping all of the 289 badges. It is topped off with an aluminum intake, 4 barrel carburetor, and a chrome dress up kit. Shorty headers feed a high performance "X-Pipe" aluminum exhaust system with turbo mufflers. It sounds terrific. The body has excellent fitment, beautiful show quality paint, trim, and chrome. I would say the Emberglow color is rare but we have had 3 Mustangs this color in the past couple of years. It sure is easy on the eyes. No body modifications were done. The immaculate interior features the popular Pony two tone fabrics, aftermarket articulated bucket seat cushions, padded dash, GT-350 wood steering wheel, Rally dash, GT Rally Pack, deluxe pedal trim, full console, T handle floor shifter, new seat belts, and contrasting top boot. Speaking of the top, instead of the standard black or white offerings from Ford, a high quality Hartz cloth tan top was added. It looks great with this color combination and has a glass back window. The chassis is very clean, shows well, with power front disc brakes, power steering, and rides on 15 inch Superlite alloy wheels with Michelin radial tires. The trunk has the standard plaid liner, tool bag, and tire cover. This is a great Mustang that is ready to show, drive, and enjoy. It turns lots of heads so make it yours today. It is blistering fast, gorgeous to look at, and hard on the 18 inch tires. It is a professionally built, officially licensed car, by CS Shelby. As you would expect it has a tricked out suspension, leather, all power options, high line Shaker stereo, big brakes at all 4 corners, and great sounding exhaust. If you want a totally different take on a RestoMod you should consider this wicked Shelby. As of now there is no financing available on this one.
